What makes PINT A-NZ unique?

Australia and New Zealand share a joint specification, which is unique within the PINT framework. The variant adds region-specific rules for the Australian and New Zealand tax systems.

The PASR for both countries (approved 20 March 2025) states that legacy specifications were phased out as of 15 May 2025. Service Provider accreditation requires an annual review.

Australia promotes e-invoicing through the Business e-Invoicing Right initiative, which gives businesses the right to receive e-invoices via Peppol.
