The PASR for Australia was approved on 20 March 2025. PINT A-NZ invoices are mandatory from 15 November 2024; legacy specifications were phased out on 15 May 2025. SP accreditation requires annual review.

Business e-Invoicing Right

The Australian government is working on the Business e-Invoicing Right, an initiative that gives businesses the right to receive e-invoices via Peppol. This stimulates the adoption of structured e-invoicing in the Australian market.

What does this mean for you?

If you invoice Australian companies, Peppol offers a standardized route. The eConnect PSB supports PINT A-NZ and automatically routes invoices to Australian recipients. The transformation from your existing invoice format to PINT A-NZ is handled automatically.
