Dashboards and reporting on the platform

Dashboards explained: invoice revenue, Track and Trace and date filtering per organisation.

The eConnect platform offers dashboards that give you a visual overview of your invoice flows. At a glance you can see how many invoices you have sent and received, the associated amounts and how the statuses are distributed.

What do the dashboards show?

The dashboards are available per app (Sales invoices, Purchase invoices) and show:

  • Invoice revenue charts: the number and total amounts of invoices per month, per organisation.
  • Track & Trace diagrams: a visual distribution of the statuses of your documents (received, approved, paid, rejected, etc.).
  • Date filtering: adjust the period to view trends over a longer or shorter term.
  • Per organisation: if you have multiple organisations in your environment, you can filter per organisation.

Understanding dashboard statuses

In the dashboard you see two main colours:

  • Green: invoices that have been fully processed (received and forwarded to software, or marked as paid).
  • Orange: invoices that have been received but not yet fully processed.

A large number of orange invoices does not necessarily indicate a problem. It may mean that duplicates have been deliberately rejected, that invoices are awaiting approval in the workflow, or that there are invoices you have not yet marked as paid.

Enterprise dashboards

From the Enterprise subscription more extensive dashboards are available with additional reporting capabilities. Enterprise dashboards offer more detail levels, custom KPIs and the ability to compose your own reports.

Exporting

The data behind the dashboards can be exported as a CSV file via the export function. This lets you further analyse the data in Excel, Google Sheets or your own BI tooling.
