Create and share filters and views

Create, save and share custom filters and views with colleagues on the platform.

The eConnect platform offers powerful filter and view features that let you find exactly the invoices you are looking for. You can save custom filters as a view and share them with colleagues, so everyone works with the same overview.

Filtering

In every Inbox (IN and OUT) and in the apps you can filter the overview by:

  • Organisation: show only invoices from a specific organisation
  • Sender or recipient: filter by a specific supplier or debtor
  • Date or period: select a specific date or date range
  • Status: show only invoices with a certain status (received, paid, rejected, etc.)
  • Free search terms: search by invoice number, amount, description or other characteristics

Filters can be combined. For example, you can show all unpaid invoices from the past month from a specific supplier.

Saving views

Do you regularly use the same filter settings? Save them as a view:

Step 1: Set your filters

Select the desired filters in the Inbox (organisation, status, date, etc.).

Step 2: Save the view

Click Save view.

Step 3: Name the view

Enter a recognisable name, for example "Outstanding invoices Q1" or "Invoices organisation A".

The view appears as a shortcut in your Inbox. With one click you apply the saved filters.

Sharing views

You can share views with colleagues in the same environment. When sharing you choose the permission level:

  • Read: colleagues can use the view but not modify it
  • Edit: colleagues can adjust the view

Shared views are useful when multiple employees work with the same invoice overviews, for example a "Requires approval" view used by the entire team.

Exporting from a view

From any view you can export the results as a CSV file. This is useful for reports, analyses or importing data into other systems. The maximum number of rows per export is 20,000. Read more in Export overviews as CSV.
