The partner process

Six steps from the first conversation to production. Referral starts immediately, reseller within four weeks, white label in six to twelve weeks. We start with a no-obligation introduction and decide together on the right partner model.

six steps
The process in six steps

Each step has a clear outcome and a responsible person on both sides. The lead times are a baseline: a referral collaboration starts immediately, a reseller typically goes live within four weeks, a white-label track with custom branding takes a little longer.

introduction
What we discuss in the first conversation

In the introduction we determine together which partner model fits: referral, reseller or white label. We walk through your audience, your technical environment and the commercial starting points. No meetings for the sake of meetings. We work towards a concrete first live customer from the start.

Partner Manager (eConnect)

Strategic and commercial single point of contact. Guides the track from introduction to production and remains your fixed contact afterwards.

Technical contact (eConnect)

Dedicated technical contact during implementation. Answers API questions, helps with integration choices and engages with development on edge cases.

Project lead (you)

Owner of scope, planning and internal stakeholders. Coordinates pilot customers and go-live communication.

Lead developer (you)

Works with the PSB API and the SDK. Builds the mapping between your data model and the PSB and sets up webhook endpoints.

role division
Who does what

Four roles that are typically active during a track. With smaller partners these roles are combined; in larger tracks they are separated.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the whole process take?

That depends on the partner model and your technical starting position. A referral collaboration starts immediately after the partner contract is signed; no technical integration is required. A reseller with REST API development experience typically goes live within four weeks; on top of that comes the time for the partner contract (one to three weeks). A white-label track with custom branding, SSO setup and optionally a full PSB look-and-feel takes six to twelve weeks.

The lead time is predictable because we work with a fixed delivery approach and the eConnect side of the track follows standard patterns. Variation mainly sits on the partner side: how much time your internal team can free up for the technical session and the pilot. Need a concrete planning? In the first introduction we make a tailored timeline.

What information do I need for a first conversation?

Not much. An idea of your audience, what you do today around e-invoicing or Peppol (yourself, via another party or nothing yet), and which business model you have in mind. The rest comes up during the conversation. For the partner contract we need standard Chamber of Commerce information and the commercial starting points.

Are there thresholds or admission requirements?

For referral and reseller there are no hard admission thresholds. For white label we apply minimum volume and quality criteria, because partners operate under our Peppol certificate. We discuss this transparently in the first introduction.

What if I am still hesitating between models?

Start with the conversation. The three models do not exclude each other and overlap in practice. It is not an irreversible choice: start with what fits today and grow with us when needed.
