The privacy and cookie policy of eConnect International B.V. Read which data we process, how we protect it, and what rights you have.

eConnect International B.V. (Chamber of Commerce: 54441587, hereinafter "eConnect") attaches great importance to protecting your privacy and developing technology that provides you with the most advanced and secure experience. This privacy policy applies to our websites and eConnect products and concerns the collection and use of data.
eConnect registers the following personal data: name, email address, address, and telephone number. We also collect anonymous transaction information that is not unique to you personally, your company, or your customers.
Information about computer hardware and software is also automatically collected, such as your IP address, browser type, domain names, and access times.
If you disclose personal data or sensitive personal data via discussions or public groups on the eConnect platform, this information may be collected and used by others.
You have the right to access the personal data we process about you.
You have the right to rectification or erasure of your personal data.
You have the right to withdraw consent or to object to the processing of your data.
When eConnect registers your personal data, you have a number of rights under the GDPR. If you have a complaint about the way we handle your data, we would like to hear from you, but you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
eConnect uses your personal data to manage eConnect and to provide the services or information you have requested (contractual basis). If you create an account on eConnect, you agree that we process the data you enter (consent basis). If you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, this does not mean that the data was unlawfully obtained.
eConnect also uses this data to keep you informed about services, such as new information and surveys about current and possible new services (legitimate interest basis). To determine which services are most popular, eConnect tracks which pages are visited.
eConnect does not, in principle, disclose processed data to third parties. However, we reserve the right to share anonymised data with partners who assist us in performing statistical analyses (Google AdWords and Google Analytics). We may also share your data with partners to provide customer support or to arrange deliveries, under a (sub-)processing agreement. These partners are prohibited from using your personal data for other purposes.
eConnect never discloses your personal data without notice, except where required by law, to protect rights or property, or to act under urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public.
Customers of eConnect may determine how long their data is stored in the online archive on the eConnect platform. For other personal data, we do not retain them longer than necessary during the performance of our services. The retention period may vary by purpose.
After the retention period expires, your personal data will be deleted or anonymised. What remains is statistical data that can no longer be linked to you in any way. This statistical data allows us to gain insight into the use of our products and services.
Technical or functional cookies: ensure you can use our website more easily. You do not have to enter the same information each time. No consent is required.
Analytical cookies: statistics are collected anonymously; no consent is requested.
Marketing cookies: we use remarketing cookies to advertise on third-party websites (including Google) to previous visitors.
Social media buttons: our website includes buttons from Twitter and LinkedIn that place cookies to promote or share web pages.
Third parties may also place cookies through our website: Google, reCAPTCHA, and Google Fonts. Please consult their privacy and cookie policies for up-to-date information.
eConnect endeavours to secure your personal data in a controlled, secure environment. When personal information is transferred to other websites, it is always protected by SSL encryption with high-grade certificates.
We work paperless; old documents are shredded and we have no physical archives. The devices we use to access digital documents are adequately secured. eConnect holds an ISO 27001 certificate that applies to the organisation and its services, underscoring our focus on the security of your personal data and the reliability of our security measures.
