Connecting BaseNet with eConnect

Connect BaseNet after activation of the eConnect module by BaseNet. Configure per administration.

You connect BaseNet in 2026 with eConnect via connection keys. The eConnect module in BaseNet must first be activated by BaseNet, as this is not a default setting.

Before you start
  • An active eConnect account with at least a Basic subscription
  • The eConnect module must be activated in BaseNet (contact BaseNet)
  • Read permissions for the eConnect mailboxes and write permissions for the settings
  • Your eConnect connection keys (App Key and Secret)

Note: You may need to purchase a separate functionality package from BaseNet to enable the eConnect module. Check with BaseNet for details.

Setting up the integration
Step 1: Create connection keys

Create connection keys in the eConnect platform. Follow the steps in Creating connection keys.

Step 2: Configuration in BaseNet
  1. Go to Administratie > Stamgegevens.

  1. Click eConnect accounts at the bottom of the list (under Online Betaalsystemen).

  1. Click the plus icon to add a new account.
  2. Enter the connection keys you created in eConnect.

After entering the details, you can view incoming and sent invoices. Sending sales invoices from BaseNet is also possible.

Multiple administrations

With multiple administrations, set up a separate Bedrijfs-ID per organization (e.g. XCBE0004065, XCBE0004066). The API key can be the same for all organizations. Make sure you are logged in to the correct BaseNet administration when configuring.

Tip: After configuration, there may be a delay of a few hours before invoices appear in BaseNet.
